EagleHawk Partners With University at Buffalo Students to Provide Real-World Experience
EagleHawk is partnering with The University at Buffalo (“UB”) to provide real-word experiential IT projects for students in UB’s competitive Master of Science in Management Information Systems program. Students taking the MGS 618 - Experiential IT Projects course have the opportunity to work with one of a select number of companies to gain real-world experience in how the technology platforms they are learning about in the classroom impact strategic business objectives. These projects provide an incredible learning opportunity for the students and deliver tangible results for the company partners. As a Buffalo-based business, EagleHawk is proud to continue its relationship with the university and community while working with and learning from these students.
“It’s a real win-win for everyone involved,” said EagleHawk CFO Jon Byrd. “These students are bringing fresh ideas and are really challenging us to ensure we are getting the most value from these technology platforms. They get to see first-hand how these systems impact everything from growth to the bottom-line in a startup environment. When it comes to learning, there is no substitute for hands-on experience.”
